Privacy policy — StoreTrust Google Reviews

AtechDigital provides this Shopify app to display a merchant-selected business’s Google reviews.

Data we process

We store the Shopify shop domain, installation credentials, widget settings, selected Google Place ID, merchant-provided URL, timestamps and request counters. Shopify session data can include merchant/staff identity information supplied by Shopify. We do not request Shopify customer or order records.

Google Maps business details and reviews, including author attribution, are fetched for immediate display. The app does not persist Places review content. Legacy application data may remain until shop deletion. The hosting provider processes network information, including IP addresses, to serve requests and maintain service logs.

Purpose and providers

We use this data to authenticate installations, remember settings, display reviews, prevent excessive requests and provide support. Our service uses Shopify, Google Cloud/Firebase, and our production database provider. Data can be processed in the United States and other locations used by these providers.

Google Maps content is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps terms.

Retention and deletion

Installation sessions are removed when we receive the uninstall notification. Application data is removed when Shopify sends the shop redaction notification, unless the app has been reinstalled. We acknowledge customer privacy requests without retaining their payload because we do not collect Shopify customer records. Provider logs and backups follow the retention configured for the production deployment.
